Affordability
Families in the East Valley and across the state are struggling with rising costs, from housing and utilities to gas and groceries. Julie knows that if families cannot afford to live in the communities they love, nothing else matters.
In the State Legislature, she has focused on common‑sense policies that ease the burden on working families – supporting responsible tax relief, pushing back against higher fees and utility hikes, and working to ensure infrastructure and services keep up with growth without breaking the bank.
Her focus is straightforward: helping Arizona families save for the future while thriving in the present.
Education & Parental Rights
Parents are the ultimate decision makers in their children’s education, and Julie believes schools should partner with families to put students first. She believes parents should have a real say in their child’s learning.
By supporting a variety of schooling options, she’s working to make sure every student has a path to success that truly fits them. Julie is committed to raising academic standards, supporting great teachers, and expanding opportunities in STEAM, trades, and career‑readiness so students graduate prepared for the real world.
With more young people feeling disconnected from school, she believes Arizona must do more to engage students early and keep them on track to a successful, prosperous future.
Healthcare
As an ER trauma nurse, Julie sees how difficult getting timely, affordable, high‑quality care can be for patients. Being a patient advocate is part of her job, and she believes Arizona must do more to ensure families, seniors, and Veterans can see a doctor when they need one.
Julie works to expand healthcare capacity in fast‑growing communities, support frontline providers, and reduce unnecessary bureaucracy that drives up costs without improving care. She supports strengthening access to primary care, mental health services, and emergency care so every Arizona family can count on a healthcare system that puts patients first, not bureaucracy or politics.
Since Julie is also a legislator, she has, and will continue to, advance policies that strengthen the workforce and reduce administrative burdens while supporting public health in Arizona. Supporting healthcare workers who care for all of us is not just good policy or practice – it’s personal to Julie.
Public Safety
Strong communities are built on safe neighborhoods and dependable emergency services. Julie believes that firefighters, police officers, and all first responders are not only essential to public safety – they are also our friends and neighbors.
She is proud to support the men and women who put their lives on the line and is committed to making sure they have the resources they need to respond quickly when we call.
Julie supports smart policies that keep dangerous criminals off our streets, protect victims of crime, and give law enforcement the tools they need to do their jobs safely and effectively, so families and businesses can feel secure in their own communities.
Small Businesses
As a small business owner, Julie understands firsthand how red tape and uncertainty can hold local businesses and entrepreneurs back. She works to champion a positive business climate that helps businesses grow and invest in our communities, rather than weighing them down with unnecessary regulations and mandates.
Julie supports cutting barriers, streamlining licensing and permitting, and keeping taxes and fees predictable so small businesses can plan for the future. She believes state leaders should work hand‑in‑hand with chambers, job creators, and local communities to attract new investment and unlock prosperity for all Arizona working families.
